My students sometimes ask for book recommendations (more often, they do not), which I then scribble on the board and forget, as do the students.
Maybe there is a better way. I have started keeping lists of recommended books on Amazon's Listmania,
and I now have three lists posted on Amazon:
One for Political Irrationality;
One for Irrationality in general; and
One on Great Comic Novels.
(I think that comic novels are quite often explorations of irrationality. For some reason, irrationality is inherently funny.)
